What is Recess Hall Pass?

You told us that one of your biggest challenges is reaching more people. So we’re investing our resources and ? into finding you more clients, starting with advertising and SEO.

We have heard from new clients that they need help finding the right style and class for them. To help them navigate all of you rock stars and find their home, we're launched our Hall Pass membership.

“Hall Pass” refers to three different tiers of memberships (details on the tiers below) Hall Passes are general Recess memberships that allow brand new clients to try different Recess instructors with the purchase of just one package.

What’s the goal of Hall Pass??

Our goal is to have these clients cancel Hall Pass and upgrade to your membership. We'll send them emails and notifications encouraging them to do just that.

How do instructors get paid for these clients?

  1. A prospective client sees an ad and signs up for a Hall Pass (there are 3 tiers, please see below for details)

  2. They can watch VODs or book live classes (limited to 2 or 3 classes per instructor)

  3. You get paid your full drop-in rate for live classes and $.50 for each stream of your VODs (this is 100x more than other streaming services)

Here’s an example:

  1. A client purchases our $49.99/month Hall Pass on March 1st.

  2. They take your live class twice, and decide they love you (nicely done!)

  3. Their Hall Pass limits them to two classes per instructor, so they need to upgrade to your membership!

  4. If your membership is $100/month, on March 15th they’ll pay $50 (to you) for the remainder of the month, since there is only half the month left. Next month, they’ll renew at the full $100 rate.
