Ever wish you could create a group chat with your Monday HIIT class? or chat with everyone who is doing your 3-week challenge? Well... now you can with our new and improved Communications center!!
Communications Center Overview
Using the Communications Center you are able to:
Chat with a Class, Membership, or Custom Group
Direct Message users
Send Photo, PDFs, and Videos
Send Marketing emails
So, how do you get to the Communications Center!?
Go to the left-hand menu bar and press Communications
Once you click on this, you are brought to the Communications Center!
From here, you have 3 options:
Send a Marketing Email
Create a Channel (group message)
Send a Direct Message
To send an email in the Communications Center, press Marketing Email
Press Send an Email
Select a template
There are 5 different types you can use:
Join Me: An invite you can send out to clients who haven't made an account yet
Blank: Totally blank with space for text - write whatever you like!
Weekly Schedule: Automatically pulls your schedule for the next week with links to sign up
Memberships: Automatically pulls all of your membership to easily remind clients of their options
New On-Demand Workouts: Automatically pulls any VODs you have uploaded in the last 30 days.
You can pick any of 13 color options:
Next, let's learn how to create a Channel (group message)!
To chat with this group, select the name under channels and write your message!
To add Photo, PDFs, and Videos please press the photo icon in the chatbox
Each Chat also has its own settings to access these settings, press the i in the upper right-hand corner of the chat
Here you are able to:
Star conversations so they show up at the top of your chat bar
Mute the notifications of the Channel
Report the channel
Archive the channel (delete)
Here you are also able to see the class that all of the members of the chat are from.
Last, let's learn how to send a Direct Message!
In the Communications Center next to Direct messages, press the +
Here you are able to search the client's email or name that you'd like to send a direct message to and select it.
Once you select the client that you'd like to Direct message with, the message box will pop up and you are able to send them a message.
Each direct message also has its own settings to access these settings, press the i in the upper right-hand corner of the chat.
Here you are able to:
Star the conversation it shows at the top of your chat bar
Mute the notifications of the Direct Message
Report the User
Block the User
Archive the channel (delete)
With Direct Messages, you are also able to see the client information right in the message.
