Payment Plans for a Series

When you set up a Series, you build one or more Payment Options for clients to choose from at checkout. Two of the most common setups — an "Admin only" plan and a "Tag based" plan — both come from the same Customize Visibility to Clients setting, just configured differently.

Where to Set This Up

From a Series' creation or edit screen, open Payment Options and add or edit a Payment Option. Toggle Customize Visibility to Clients on to reveal the settings below.

Admin Only Plans

Toggle Restrict Visibility to Admins Only on. This hides the plan from client self-checkout entirely — clients will never see or be able to select it themselves. Only a dashboard admin can select this plan when manually enrolling someone.

This is useful for special pricing you only want to offer on a case-by-case basis — a manual discount, a comped enrollment, or a plan you don't want publicly visible.

Tag Based Plans

Add one or more tags to the Client Tags field. Only clients carrying a matching tag will see this plan at self-checkout — everyone else won't see it as an option.

Leave Client Tags empty to make the plan visible to all clients.

Note: Combining Restrict Visibility to Admins Only with Client Tags doesn't make sense together — Admins Only already hides the plan from client self-checkout regardless of tags.

Other Visibility Settings

  • Only Show to Brand-New Clients — restricts a plan to clients who've never enrolled with your studio before.

Basic vs. Advanced Payment Mode

Regardless of visibility settings, each Payment Option also needs a payment mode:

  • Standard — a single, flat charge. Set a Payment type (e.g. Paid) and a flat $ Amount. Use this for a one-time purchase or a pay-in-full plan — the client is charged once, and that's it.
  • Advanced — ongoing or multi-cycle billing. Choose a Pricing Model:
    • Fixed Ongoing — billing continues indefinitely, on the interval you set, until the client cancels or you end the enrollment.
    • Fixed Term — billing runs for a set number of cycles, then stops on its own.
  • Then choose a Billing Interval (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, or Custom) — this controls how often the client is charged, not how long the Series itself runs.

Click + Add Option to offer more than one Payment Option on the same Series — for example, an Admin-only plan alongside a standard client-facing one, or a pay-in-full Standard option next to a monthly Advanced installment option.
