How to create and set up customized emails?
Instructors are able to send customized emails to clients based on specific transactional scenarios. To create a custom email go to Tools and click on Transactional Emails:
You will be brought here, click on the Create new email button:
Now let's create some customized emails! First, you will need to set up the email for your customized email.
Select a trigger. A trigger is an automated email that is sent when the client takes a certain action, engages in a certain behavior pattern, or when certain changes occur:
Once you have chosen your trigger, make sure to set the "Who should receive this email?" recipient to "Client(s)":
Fill out the rest of the form, then select a date when the email should become active:
Click on next to begin creating your new email template:
Enter a subject name for the email. There are three different cells to choose from select which cell you would like to add to the section of the email body:
Choose Text to enter a text box into the email body:
Type in your custom message inside the text box:
Now add a media to the email body by clicking on the Media icon, this will insert a photo into the body of your email template:
You can add another section to the right or left side of a section. If you need to delete a section, hover over Cell and you will see an X. Clicking the X will remove the section from the email body:

Next up, you have the option to add a button to your email. This is where you can enter the URL to your website. To add a button, click on the Button icon:

When you are ready to preview your template, click on preview:
If all looks good, click on save to activate your template:
All of your customized emails will live here. They are sorted by specific triggers and you can go back to make edits to your templates or disable a template by clicking on the three dots and selecting Edit Email to edit a template or Make inactive to disable a template:
How to utilize variables in custom emails:
Variables are a great way to personalize your custom emails based on certain transactional scenarios. Clicking on a variable copies the code snippet which allows you paste the variable into the email template.
To apply a first name variable to your email template scroll down and click on User >> First Name to copy the variable:
Paste the variable into the text box:
Pro Tip: To paste the variable into the text box, press command + V on your keyboard on a Mac or CTRL + V on your PC keyboard
When you are ready to preview your template, click on preview:
Click on save to apply the changes to the template:
