Appointments Step 5: Booking a Client

Article 5 of 5

There are 2 ways to book a client into an appointment. It is important to understand the differences between these two methods.

This article covers - video showing both options

  1. Booking a client by overriding your settings

  2. Booking a client as they would book themselves

Option 1 - Booking a Client by Overriding your Settings

This process ignores any availability settings you or your team have

It also ignores your booking windows

  • Go to the Calendar.

Click either the “+” sign or highlight a time slot on the calendar.

  • Note: This option ignores availability settings, so you can book a client outside of someone’s availability.

Enter all required fields.

  • Note: If you want additional clients to book the same time slot, make sure the number of participants is set to more than one.
  • Click Create.
  • Enter the client’s name.

  • Choose how to charge the client.

  • Click Add.

Option 2 - Booking a Client via Booking Flow

This option is identical to what a client sees and follows all settings (e.g., follows availability settings, booking windows, etc.)

  • Go to the client’s profile.
  • Click the “Appointment” button in the top right-hand corner.
  • Follow the steps to complete the appointment.
