π¨οΈ How to Set Up and Use the Label Printer Feature
The new Label Printer feature allows you to easily print product labels directly from your Recess dashboard. This guide walks you through how to enable, connect, and use your label printer step-by-step. π·οΈ
Step 1: Contact Recess Support to Enable the Label Printer Feature βοΈ
Please email us at support@recess.tv if you are wanting us to enable this feature flag for you.

- Once Support confirms that the feature has been activated, you can proceed with the setup below.
Step 2: Access the Label Printer Settings π§
From your dashboard, open the left-hand side menu.

Click on Tools β then select Locations.
β

From the list, choose the location where you want to connect your label printer.
β
β
Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the Label Printer section.

Step 3: Connect Your Printer π¨οΈ
In the Label Printer section, click the yellow βConnect Printerβ button in the top-right corner. π

The system will automatically scan and display available printers.
β
β
Find your printer in the list and select it.
β
β
(Optional) Update the Display Name for easier identification.
β
β
Click Save Printer to confirm your selection. β
β
β
Once saved, your printer will appear in your list of connected printers.
Step 4: Print a Product Label π·οΈ
Go to the left-hand side menu again.

Click on Products and Services β then select Retail Products.
β
β
Locate the product youβd like to print a label for.
β
β
Click the three-dot icon (β―) next to the product.
β
β
Select Print Label from the dropdown menu. π¨οΈ

A small window will appear where you can:

Choose the connected printer you want to use.
β
β
Preview the label before printing.
β
β
Once ready, click Print Labels to finalize. π

π Notes
- Make sure your printer is properly connected and powered on before printing.
- You can add or change connected printers at any time from the Label Printer section.
This feature is available only after Support enables it for your account.
